Urban and Rural landscape photographs.

These photographs were taken in different rural settings that offer a multitude of different visual qualities. The photographs are a basis to start deconstructing and understanding the fundamentals within each landscape, this will be done by taking out any form of detail and making the landscapes extremely minimal and abstract to the point in which they are hardly recognisable. I have noticed that within rural landscapes there are no noticeable lines or straight edges, but there are general shapes made with different tones and colour.  There is also always a direct contrast where the landscape itself meets the horizon.

There are many elements in which I will have to consider when creating minimal and abstract versions of these and other landscape photographs. The next step is to use Photoshop to create some digitally manipulated images and a series of drawings, paintings and small sculptures to try and capture my idea,
